AUDITORIUM UMSHYRPI COLLEGE :
The Auditorium of Umshyrpi College was inaugurated on 4th April, 2011, by Janab Salman Khursheed, the then Hon’ble Union Minister of Minority Affairs & Water Resource, Govt. of India in the presence of Late C.Z. Ghafoor, the then President, Governing Body and Janab Sayeedullah Nongrum(MLA), the then Vice-President, Governing Body, who is the present President, Governing Body, Umshyrpi College. The occasion was also graced by by Dr. Mukul Sangma, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Meghalaya, Smti. Ampareen Lyngdoh, the then Hon’ble Minister of Education, Govt. of Meghalaya, Shri F.W. Momin, the then Hon’ble Minister of Community & Rural Development and Irrigation, Govt. of Meghalaya.
Now, the College has a newly built splendid auditorium with a seating capacity of approximately 250. The building of the auditorium is well furnished with the basic infrastructure of a modern standard auditorium such as good sound system, a large stage and proper lightings’ system etc.
